MOVE Welfare organization recently contracted/started the Implementation of Community Based Nutrition Program (CBNP, WIFS, MNP, Mother MUAC and CHW incentive) to improve nutrition status of women, adolescent girls and children in Sar-e-pul province.

This project includes Community Based Nutrition Program (CBNP), Weekly Iron Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFS), Micronutrient Powder (MNP) distribution and Mother MUAC activity. The project has contracted with UNICEF through Humanitarian Program Document.

MOVE Welfare Organization with the financial cooperation of the UNFPA started the construction and renovation of 17 health shelters in Badghis Province.

This program was opened on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, during a gathering attended by local officials of Badghis province.

It is worth mentioning that with the implementation of this project, along with the renovation of 17 sanitary nests, four rooms and a surrounding wall will be built for each nest.

Of course, this project will be implemented at a cost of 25 million Afghanis in five remote districts deprived of health services in Badghis province.

In a ceremony with the presence of local officials, Monday, June 12, 2023, the MOVE Welfare Organization started the construction of 10 FHHs in Farah province.

Eng. Ghullam Nabi Fazli, the general director of this Organization, said in a ceremony that was held to inaugurate the construction of these FHHs, that these FHHs with an approximate cost of 29 million Afghanis funded by UNFPA, will be built in remote areas of 7 districts of Farah province.

According to the health officials in Farah province, most of the regions in Farah province are deprived of access to health services, and with the start of the work of these health centers, it will be a good opportunity to strengthen the supply of health services in this province.
